Care Packages
Kids BLAST families delivered 10 care packages to home bound members. Parents shared that they stayed and chatted in some cases, for 30 minutes. The receiving members were pleased with the visits and students told parents it was nice and felt good to help others.
It’s so sweet to see young and old enjoying one another. Pastor Gene’s good idea to bless the packages and students delivering them was well-received. Care packages included an Advent devotional, large print word searches, chapstick, hand lotion and a hand-made Christmas card from our students.
We will definitely do something again, as we had more families volunteer to deliver care packages than we had home bound members to receive them. Thanks to those who supported this service project with donations.
Community Project
Students in grades 1st-3rd and 6th-8th decorated placemats for Thanksgiving meals for Community Projects for Seniors. Thank you for serving the community.
