Atonement Endowment Fund

The Atonement Church Congregation Council established an Endowment Fund in 2013 as an option for Legacy Giving beyond Memorial Gifts. Memorial gifts go directly to Atonement while the Endowment Fund is Legacy giving that benefits Atonement and the communities we live in. Congregational members that donate to the fund are considered to be part of “The Apple Tree Society.” The analogy being members have planted seeds for growth for mission at Atonement and beyond our walls for other needs in the community (much like someone who plants an Apple Tree that bears fruit for a lifetime). If you would like to hear more on how to plan a gift as part of your estate, will, investments, life insurance policies, IRA’s, and CD’s, please contact one of the Endowment Fund Committee members shown below, or our Pastors.

If you have planned a gift*, or plan on establishing a gift as part of your will or estate, our Endowment Fund Committee and staff would like to know about it. We have attached a Letter of Instruction form to make the committee and Atonement’s Bookkeeper aware of the planned gift. Please print this form and deliver to the church office or Pastor. They will make our committee aware of your planned gift.

*Endowment Giving is not designed to replace givers’ weekly/monthly current and benevolence offerings.
