Obituary

Duklas, Darlene Jean (nee Stoller), age 70, of Muskego, unexpectedly passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022. Beloved wife of Edward. Loving mother of Jamie (Elizabeth), Lori (Noel) Smith, and Ryan (Kathryn) Duklas. Proud grandmother of Owen and Willamina Duklas and Grady, Cody and Tucker Smith. Sister of Carol Erdman, sister-in-law of Shirley “Babe” Stoller, and brother -in-law of Dennis Duklas. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents, John II and Helen Stoller; and one brother, John III.

She grew up in Fort Atkinson where she helped on her family’s dairy farm. She was a graduate of UW-Whitewater where she met her husband, Ed, and they married on July 24, 1976. Retired teacher for WAWM School District. She was an active member at Atonement Lutheran Church for 40+ years. She was passionate about spending time with her family and grandchildren and a large, close-knit circle of “Forever Friends”.

Celebration of life will be held at Atonement Lutheran Church in Muskego on Saturday July 9th from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Private interment at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Atkinson. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Atonement Lutheran Church are appreciated or donations of children’s books.
