Obituary

In Loving Memory of Jean Louise Albers

Jean Louise Albers, a cherished resident of Muskego, WI, departed unexpectedly in her sleep on August 27, 2023, at the age of 75.

Born on June 16, 1948, in Milwaukee, WI, Jean was the beloved daughter of Franklin G. and Corrine (Connie) L. Reitz. In 1968, she married Anthony (Tony) Galecke, with whom she was blessed with three children. Although life led them on separate paths in 1984, Jean found love anew and married Ron Albers on November 28, 1990.

Jean is survived by her devoted husband, Ron, her three children: Tammy (Scott) Sacharski, Tim Galecke, and Andy Galecke. Her legacy extends further through her two cherished grandchildren, Josh and Ethan Sacharski. She leaves behind many loving relationships, including sister-in-laws Joan Hall, Susie (Tom) Burger, Cynda Bice, Karen Galecke, and Sue Grassman, as well as brother-in-laws Mike (Jean) Albers and Fred (Mary Jane) Galecke. Numerous nieces and nephews also hold her memory dear.

Jean was preceded in death by her father, Franklin, her mother, Connie, and her brother, Jim Reitz. She joins her first husband, Anthony Galecke, her brother-in-law Dave Albers, stepson John Albers, and nephew Justin Reitz in eternal peace.

Throughout her professional journey, Jean dedicated herself to her father's business, Foreign Forwarding. Upon her first retirement, she discovered a deep passion for real estate, a career that brought her immense joy. However, her most treasured role was that of Grandma to Josh and Ethan. Her warmth and love quickly earned her the title of Grandma Jean to everyone she met.

In celebration of Jean's remarkable life, we remember her with love, gratitude, and the countless memories she gifted us. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she touched, forever Grandma Jean.

Visitation at Atonement Lutheran Church, S70 W16244 Martin Drive, Muskego on Friday September 1st from 2-4pm with service to follow at 4pm.   There will be light refreshments at the Church immediately after the service.  Memorials can be made to Muskego Food Pantry or Atonement Lutheran Church.
